Ego’s Packaging Projects & Studio Manager, Simone Thomassen, has been named as a finalist in the inaugural PKN Women In Packaging Awards.
These awards aim to celebrate outstanding leadership in the Australian packaging industry by encouraging diversity, advancing innovation, and inspiring the next generation of leaders.
Simone has been nominated for the Sustainability Leader Award.
This category honours women who have demonstrated outstanding commitment to sustainability in the Australian packaging industry, and recognises initiatives such as reducing packaging waste, promoting recyclability, advocating for eco-friendly materials, or implementing circular packaging practices.
The achievements of all the finalists will be celebrated, and winners announced, at the Women in Packaging Awards luncheon on 21 June.
