Ego employs around 700 staff based across 15 nations. Among them are scientists, engineers, fitters, electricians, packing line and manufacturing operators, experts in sales and marketing, ICT, logistics, purchasing, finance, human resources, graphic and web design, and many more.
Ego’s employees are skilled, and also have a love of learning. We offer individual training and development for our staff across many different fields, and we encourage employees to grow both professionally and personally. We have training managers in the business, in multiple cities, and we have collaborations between our people across teams, cities and nations.

Each year Ego conducts an Employee Engagement Survey as part of our Better Together Program, which helps foster a workplace where every employee across our diverse global business has input into improving our working.
In 2023, 90% of staff members completed the survey, giving Ego an overall Engagement score of 81%.
Our highly engaged culture has contributed to Ego being named on the 2022 AFR BOSS Best Places to Work List, which recognises the best workplaces in Australia and New Zealand. Ego was recognised for our achievements and practices around learning and development, and staff wellbeing, including our global Employee Assistance Program (EAP) that all Ego staff across the world can access in their own language.
