Ego Pharmaceuticals has moved up seven places, being named at number 302 on the IBISWorld 2022 Top 500 Private Companies List. 

The annual list, this year published by The Australian, considers company revenue over the latest 12-month accounting period, as well as the number of staff employed.

Founded in Melbourne in 1953 by husband and wife Gerald and Rae Oppenheim, Ego Pharmaceuticals now employs over 650 staff across 15 nations.

The organisation remains Australian family owned and operated, with all products still being manufactured in Victoria.
