On Thursday 24th November, Alan Oppenheim (Ego Pharmaceuticals, Managing Director) and Dr Jane Oppenheim (Scientific and Operations Director) were presented the Australian Exporter of the Year award for Health and Biotechnology. The Awards measure businesses against their peers based on the strength of their international growth, marketing strategies and financial management.

It was the 54th Australian Export Awards ceremony, held at the Royal International Convention Centre Brisbane  with over 500 guests attending that Ego proudly accepted their win from the Assistant Minister for Trade, Tourism and Investments, The Hon Keith Pitt MPHon. Steven Ciobo MP, Minister for Trade, Tourism and Investment was also in attendance on the night, with the event being hosted by James O’Loghlin.  Ego was one of 12 national category winners, including Envato, recognised as Australia’s Australian Exporter of the Year for 2016.

The 54th Australian Export Awards were also co-presented by Austrade, the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and CPA Australia.
